"I really think there needs to be a change of government in the UK. We can't wait another 4 years, or wait until the next election, that's too long. Parliament needs to be dissolved and a new vote held," Musk said online to hundreds of thousands attending the "Unite the Kingdom" march on 13/9 in London, organized by far-right activist Tommy Robinson.
Musk criticized the left for supporting violence, citing the killing of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk and the fact that "many leftists openly celebrated".
According to Musk, this is the reality his supporters face. He then issued a warning: "Violence is coming for you, whether you choose violence or not. Either fight back, or you will die."

He believes most British people are choosing to remain silent and avoid politics. "I hope the British people will use common sense and think: look around and ask yourselves 'if the current situation continues, what kind of world will we live in?'", Musk said.
The 13/9 march was launched by British far-right activist Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, and attracted over 100,000 attendees, according to police estimates. It was one of the largest nationalist rallies in decades in the UK, with slogans defending free speech and numerous messages about tightening immigration controls.

Around 5,000 anti-far-right protesters organized a counter-demonstration, called the "Anti-Fascist March". London police deployed over 1,000 officers, using riot helmets and shields to prevent clashes between the two sides. At least 9 people were arrested after skirmishes at the edge of the crowds.
Musk has repeatedly expressed his views on British politics. He previously attacked the UK's 2023 Online Safety Act, arguing that it threatened free speech. He has also repeatedly criticized the British government for what he considers lenient policies on punishing immigrant sex offenders.
In August 2024, Musk said that the UK was "headed for civil war", responding to a post suggesting that the wave of riots across the country was due to the impact of immigration and the government's open border policy. The UK government issued a statement calling his remarks "baseless".
