A video of Officer De Andrade with the Hollywood Police Department in Florida, reminding the public of beach rules ahead of the July 4th holiday, has been circulating in the US. Millions of people across the country are expected to flock to Florida's beaches for the holiday.
"If you're planning on visiting the beach for the 4th of July, here are some rules you'll need to follow. We've posted informational signs at every beach entrance. Please take a moment to read them carefully before you start having fun," De Andrade said in the video posted last week by the Hollywood Police Department in Florida.
The signs shown in the video outline several regulations: no pets, scooters, motorized vehicles, or skateboards on the beach or walkways; proper disposal of alcohol containers and glass; no smoking; and maintaining appropriate distances between tents.
"Traffic is expected to be heavy this weekend. Parking lots and garages may fill up quickly. Please be prepared for potential congestion," Officer De Andrade added. "Remember, together, we can keep Hollywood safe."
"Stay safe and cool during the upcoming holiday. Have fun responsibly. Our officers will be on duty to ensure everyone complies," the Hollywood Police Department's video description stated.

De Andrade initially gained widespread attention after appearing at a press conference in Miami in July 2024.
She gained significant popularity and a large following. "Everyone had to rewatch the press conference twice because no one remembered what she said the first time," one social media user joked.
The Florida officer is a former model, wife, and mother of two. During the 2024 presidential election, she expressed her support for Donald Trump and JD Vance.
