Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf declared on 24/6 that the Islamabad agreement, which aims to end conflict with the US, is "not a result of pressure and coercion, but rather the outcome of the brave Iranian nation's resistance and authority."
"That is why the Islamabad agreement has become a declaration of US failure," Ghalibaf added. He emphasized that political and security order in the Middle East must be ensured by regional nations, rejecting outside intervention.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker further stated, "We consider the withdrawal of foreign troops from the region a strategic goal." He noted that these forces not only fail to create lasting security but are also "a source of instability."

On the same day, Pakistani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tahir Andrabi announced that negotiations, mediated by Pakistan between the US and Iran, are expected to resume next week. He did not provide details on the location.
On 17/6, Iran and the US signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at ending the conflict that has destabilized the Middle East and impacted major economies. This agreement initiates a 60-day negotiation period to address issues like Iran's nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions.
Despite the agreement, both sides continue to criticize each other. While Iran declares the deal represents a "failure" for the US, President Donald Trump maintains it is a "victory" for Washington, dismissing criticisms of the agreement.
