The Russian Ministry of Defense released footage on 10/7 from a reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) tracking a large warehouse in a field near the village of Baratovka in Mykolaiv province, southern Ukraine. "This is a forward deployment point of the 35th Marine Brigade of the Ukrainian army," the ministry said.
Russian military news sites reported that reconnaissance units of the Dnepr Group had previously detected Ukrainian soldiers at this location and informed the command center to carry out the strike.
The Iskander-M missile descended and detonated its warhead in the air to maximize damage. The fireball and shockwave engulfed the warehouse, while shrapnel covered an area with a radius of about 200 m around the target.
The UAV then continued to monitor the scene to assess the results, showing the warehouse heavily damaged and several fires breaking out in the surrounding fields. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet disclosed the extent of enemy casualties from the attack.
Ukrainian officials have not commented on the report.
The Russian military has repeatedly launched Iskander-M ballistic missiles at targets in Ukraine, including air defense positions, training grounds, command centers, and key defense facilities, causing heavy damage to enemy forces and infrastructure.

Colonel Yuri Ignat, press secretary of the Air Force Command of Ukraine, said Russia is constantly improving the Iskander-M missile. He emphasized that the missiles often release various types of decoys during their descent to jam or deceive radar, preventing air defense systems from locking onto the target.
US media has described the Iskander-M as Russia's "most fearsome and effective weapon" in the conflict in Ukraine, and only the Patriot air defense system is capable of countering it. However, the Patriot's interception rate has reportedly declined due to dwindling missile and launcher supplies, while several batteries have also been targeted and destroyed by Russia.
