On 22/6, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, visited the Western Wall in Jerusalem to pray for US President Donald Trump after the US airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities earlier that day.
"May God bless, protect, and help US President Donald Trump, who has taken it upon himself to banish evil and darkness from the world," Netanyahu said.

Following his prayer, the Israeli prime minister placed a slip of paper inscribed with "The people of Israel live, the people of Israel endure!" into a crevice in the wall, following a centuries-old tradition.
The Western Wall is the holiest site where Jews are permitted to pray. It is believed to be the last remaining section of the Second Temple, destroyed by the Romans in the year 70. The site is located in the heart of Jerusalem's Old City, an area under Israeli control since the 1967 Arab-Israeli War.
The US bombing campaign followed years of lobbying by Netanyahu. The Israeli prime minister praised Trump, stating that the decision to target Iranian nuclear facilities "with the incredible power and righteousness of America" would change history.
The US launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities on the morning of 22/6, following days of international speculation about whether the US would join Israel in military action against Iran. The US Department of Defense reported significant damage to the facilities.
US involvement brought joy to many Israelis. "We woke up Sunday morning to the sound of sirens, then heard the news that America had attacked Iran," said David, 43, a Jerusalem resident. "We were all happy that America joined the fight. They always support Israel."
Meanwhile, Iran condemned the US for violating international law and "crossing a forbidden red line," warning of retaliation.
