They also committed to maintaining security and order in the border region and combating cross-border crime.
Both sides highlighted the need to improve the effectiveness of economic, trade, and investment cooperation. Mr. Hun Sen shared information about the Thailand-Cambodia border situation, noting that both sides have held meetings of the Regional Border Committee (RBC) and the General Border Committee (GBC). General Secretary To Lam welcomed the positive outcomes and stated that maintaining peace, stability, and cooperation on the Cambodia-Thailand border is important not only for the people of both countries but also for the overall development of the region.
Vietnam is always ready to closely and actively coordinate with ASEAN's collective efforts to maintain peace, stability, cooperation, and development, as well as strengthen intra-bloc solidarity and ASEAN's central role.
