Following the ceremony, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and Prime Minister Haas commenced their bilateral talks. A central point of discussion was the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which comprises four countries: Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
Negotiations for this agreement concluded on 2/7. The FTA is expected to serve as a crucial framework for expanding economic relations between Vietnam, Liechtenstein, and other EFTA member states, thereby fostering trade, investment, and business connectivity.
