The Prime Minister highlighted three crucial lessons for the diplomacy sector. First, it must persevere in the path of national independence and socialism, upholding an independent, self-reliant, multilateralized, and diversified foreign policy. This approach involves proactive and active international integration, positioning Vietnam as a friend, a trusted partner, and a responsible member of the international community.
Second, the diplomacy sector needs to be resolute yet flexible, protecting national and ethnic interests while demonstrating great agility in implementation to achieve its objectives. The third lesson involves a thorough and deep understanding of the situation, enabling timely, flexible, appropriate, and effective advisory responses.
In the new context, the Prime Minister urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to fully grasp a 24-word motto: "Accurate advice, flexible adaptation, timely shift, effective transformation, community responsibility, and stable development."
