Delta city police in British Columbia province reported that a motorcyclist was injured and hospitalized after an accident last weekend. The incident occurred at the intersection of 120th Street and 72nd Avenue, near the border of Surrey and Delta cities.
Images from the scene showed the Suzuki GSX-R1000 superbike suspended from the traffic light, approximately 6 meters above the ground. This unusual sight attracted many curious onlookers as emergency services worked to bring the motorcycle down.

"I've never seen anything like this, it's like something out of a movie," said William Chan, a Surrey resident. "I saw the BMW crashed on the road, then looked up and saw the motorcycle above. It's truly insane."
Another witness, Jevon Ryan, described the scene: "Usually, a motorcycle would crash onto the sidewalk, hitting shops, but in this case, it was thrown up and got stuck on the traffic light. It's unbelievable."

Following the accident, the section of road from 70th Avenue to 72nd Avenue was blocked as officials removed the car and motorcycle, clearing debris. The motorcyclist sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the BMW sedan was unharmed.
Authorities have not yet clarified the cause of the accident. Officials suggested that speed might have been a contributing factor, but did not specify which party was driving excessively fast.
