"I think their objectives might be a little different from ours, I suppose, because they are a different nation than us. However, Israel would tell everyone that no power has ever matched the United States", President Donald Trump told reporters on 13/3 before boarding Air Force One, addressing Washington and Tel Aviv's objectives in the Iran campaign.
When asked if he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu daily, President Trump replied, "I talk to him a lot".

Trump expressed confidence that the US Navy would soon escort oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, though he did not specify a timeframe. Regarding the question of how long the Middle East conflict would last, the US President stated the war "will last as long as necessary".
"They have been heavily devastated. Their country is in a bad state", Trump said about Iran.
President Trump's statements about the potential for an early end to the conflict with Iran highlight a new issue: the US and Israel are not truly unified on the timing or conditions for ending hostilities. Differences in their approaches to the conflict are also gradually becoming apparent.
According to sources, the US informed Israel on 9/3 that the Trump administration was "not satisfied" with the attacks on Iranian energy facilities, requesting Tel Aviv not to repeat them without Washington's approval.
Axios previously reported that the US had asked Israel to cease airstrikes on Iran's energy infrastructure. Just hours after President Trump told reporters that the military campaign was "basically complete", Prime Minister Netanyahu once again affirmed that Israel's "ultimate goal" in the war was to change the government in Iran.
