Ukrainian media reported on 19/9 that a domestically produced unmanned submarine, named TOLOKA (TLK), was recently unveiled at the Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2025 exhibition in Lviv.
The manufacturer presented three variants of the TLK 1000 unmanned submarine, ranging from 4 to 12 meters in length, capable of striking targets up to 2,000 km away and carrying 5 tons of explosives.

In late February, President Volodymyr Zelensky also introduced the TOLOKA unmanned submarine to allies at the Ukraine Support Summit. He emphasized that these new weapons could target warships, ports, and other strategic targets in Russia.
Experts believe the TOLOKA unmanned submarine could cause significant damage to the Crimean Bridge, as its 5-ton explosive payload is sufficient to destroy large structures.
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) announced in early June that it had attacked the Crimean Bridge for the third time since the beginning of the conflict using an explosive-laden unmanned submarine. According to Defense Express, the extent of damage to the underwater bridge supports remains unclear, but experts believe Ukraine used the TLK 400 unmanned submarine, which is 4-6 meters long and carries a 500 kg warhead, in the attack.
Earlier reports indicated that Ukraine is establishing a new defense center called Defense City, with the participation of 25 leading global companies. Investments are being poured into weapons production to supply the front lines.
In addition, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal pledged that the country would produce 1,000 interceptor UAVs daily in the near future. He emphasized that this would significantly deter Russia's nighttime UAV attacks.
