A video released on 7/8 by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine (GUR) shows first-person view (FPV) drones launched from unmanned boats approaching crimea.
Coastal defense systems, identified by Ukraine as Pantsir-S1 combined gun and missile systems, fired repeatedly to intercept the incoming drones. At least 5 explosions occurred near the Ukrainian drones during their approach. The video then cuts and changes scenes, making it unclear whether the drones were shot down or the cuts were made for brevity.
After penetrating the russian air defenses, one drone crashed into a pre-damaged dome, targeting the 1L119 Nebo-SVU early warning radar inside and causing a large explosion. At least two other radar domes were similarly attacked, including one housing a Podlyot K-1 radar.
"After suffering significant losses to their air defense infrastructure in crimea, the adversary has started placing expensive equipment inside dome structures," the GUR stated.
Another target was a BK-16 high-speed boat. The GUR claimed the boat was destroyed, but the video cuts off while the drone is still several meters away, making it impossible to confirm the damage. The video also shows a Ukrainian drone approaching a 96L6E surveillance radar, part of the S-400 air defense system, but it's unclear whether it hit the target.
Open-source analysts believe the attacks occurred near the village of Olenivka in western crimea.
At the end of the video, a Ukrainian drone approaches domes suspected to be at an air defense base on Ai-Petri, a mountain peak over 1,200 meters high near the southern tip of crimea. The domes appear intact before the drone descends.
The russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the information.

This operation is part of Ukraine's ongoing effort to degrade russian military infrastructure in crimea. In recent months, Ukraine has repeatedly deployed UAVs and drones to target radar, air defense systems, and ammunition depots in the region.
