Given the rapidly evolving and complex global and regional landscape, Chairman Man proposed three priority areas for AIPA's future focus.
First, AIPA should promote regional cooperation by acting as a bridge and encouraging diverse social groups and stakeholders to contribute to the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
Second, AIPA should lead in developing institutions and policies to implement regional commitments and agreements, particularly in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
Third, AIPA should actively strengthen the social foundation for regional cooperation by fostering and promoting a sense of community and identity through enhanced communication, cultural and educational exchange, tourism, and interactive activities.
He also called for actively expanding and deepening external relations to consolidate ASEAN's central role in regional and global connectivity and cooperation.
