Lao leaders sent congratulatory telegrams to Vietnamese party and state leaders on the occasion of Vietnam's 80th National Day, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The telegrams noted that 80 years ago, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Vietnamese people embarked on a revolutionary struggle against colonial invaders with courage, unwavering determination, and tremendous sacrifice for decades to gain independence in 1945. Vietnam then continued to fight against imperial aggression, combining national unity with international support and President Ho Chi Minh's burning desire for "nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."
Expressing gratitude for Vietnam's consistent and valuable support, Lao leaders congratulated Vietnam and viewed its achievements as invaluable lessons and a source of encouragement for Laos' own development. They wished Vietnam continued success in implementing the 13th National Congress resolution and in organizing the upcoming 14th Party Congress to build a modern, industrialized nation.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and other Chinese leaders also sent congratulations, acknowledging Vietnam's achievements in political and social stability, rapid economic development, improved living standards, and growing international influence.
Chinese leaders expressed confidence that Vietnam will steadily pursue its socialist path, successfully organize its 14th Party Congress, and advance toward its centennial goals for the Party and the nation.
Regarding bilateral relations, the Chinese leaders noted the growth of the traditional "comradely and brotherly" friendship between Vietnam and China over 75 years of diplomatic relations. China considers Vietnam a priority in its neighborhood diplomacy and is ready to further enhance cooperation, promoting the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership for the benefit of both peoples and contributing to global peace and progress.

Cambodian leaders expressed admiration for Vietnam's rapid development and its growing regional and global role. They emphasized the historical significance of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, reflecting the strength and unity of the Vietnamese people in building a prosperous, modern, and self-reliant nation. Cambodia expressed confidence in Vietnam achieving its goal of becoming a high-income country by 2045, valuing the good neighborly relations, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries. They believe the relationship will continue to strengthen for the benefit of both peoples, as well as regional and global peace, stability, and development.
Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez sent a congratulatory letter to Vietnamese leaders, praising Vietnam's achievements throughout history. He emphasized the establishment of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, the predecessor of today's Socialist Republic of Vietnam, as a historic milestone embodying the dream of a prosperous, peaceful, and developed nation. He affirmed that Vietnam's victories against colonialism and imperialism, as well as its current renewal process, are a great inspiration for nations struggling for independence and freedom. Cuba reaffirmed its determination to strengthen the traditional friendship between the two peoples.

President Vladimir Putin and Russian leaders emphasized that over the past 80 years, Vietnam has made great strides and is confidently progressing on the path of socio-economic advancement, with increasing prestige in the Asia-Pacific region and internationally. Russian leaders praised the actively developing Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the joint efforts of the two countries in regional and international affairs, yielding positive results based on mutual respect and consideration of each other's interests.
North Korean leaders, including Kim Jong-un, sent congratulatory telegrams, wishing Vietnam further success in building a socialist state. They expressed confidence that the traditional friendship will continue to develop in line with the socialist cause and the common interests of both peoples.
Indian leaders expressed admiration for the Vietnamese people's courage and resilience in defending and building their country. They emphasized that the elevation of India-Vietnam relations to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership reflects long-standing ties, political trust, mutual understanding, and shared values. India affirmed that its relationship with Vietnam is a key pillar of its "Act East" policy and new global strategy, reaffirming its commitment to further strengthening bilateral friendship and cooperation for the benefit of both peoples.
Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and other Mongolian leaders congratulated Vietnam on its achievements in national construction and development over the past 80 years. They expressed confidence that Vietnam will continue to achieve greater success, contributing to building a prosperous nation and enhancing its international standing.
On behalf of the US government, Secretary of State Marco Rubio congratulated Vietnam on its National Day, expressing admiration for the resilience and determination of the Vietnamese people and the progress Vietnam has made, according to a statement from the US Embassy in Vietnam. Rubio praised Vietnam's continued remarkable growth and development, becoming an indispensable US partner in the Indo-Pacific region and a leader in addressing global challenges.
The US Secretary of State expressed pride in the progress made by the two countries under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, reaffirming the commitment to deepening bilateral relations and promoting peace, prosperity, and security for the people of both countries and the entire Indo-Pacific region.
