German luxury automaker BMW has launched the iX3 2026 in Thailand, marking its debut as the first country in Southeast Asia to receive the model. The iX3 2026 is BMW's second vehicle to adopt the new Neue Klasse design language, following the i3.
The new iX3 is available in a single 50 xDrive M Sport variant, priced at 109,700 USD in Thailand. The vehicle is officially imported from Europe.

The iX3 is powered by two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 469 horsepower and 645 Nm of torque. It features all-wheel drive. Test results indicate the new iX3 accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 4,9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 210 km/h. Powering the electric motors is a 113,4 kWh battery pack, offering an 805 km range per full charge. The battery supports fast charging up to 400 kW, allowing it to charge from 10-80% in 21 minutes, or gain 372 km of range with a 10-minute charge, according to BMW.
The iX3 measures 4,782 x 1,895 x 1,635 mm (length x width x height). Its dimensions are comparable to the Porsche Macan EV and Audi Q6 e-tron. The iX3's new design reduces drag, enhancing aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0,24. Specially designed tires for the iX3 reduce rolling resistance by 12%, extending the operating range by an additional 40 km.
The new generation iX3 replaces the previous generation's characteristic kidney grille with a narrower design. The new grille is also illuminated instead of chrome-plated, a detail that distinguishes it from internal combustion engine vehicles. BMW's design director stated that the design elements of the narrow kidney grille and headlights are integrated as a graphic block, reminiscent of the BMW 2002 model.
Each future Neue Klasse model will feature distinct identifying characteristics. For example, the iX3 has a vertically oriented grille, while the recently launched i3 features a horizontal one.
The new design increases the iX3's interior space. BMW bolts the front seats directly into the battery pack. The iX3's interior features a minimalist design. It includes a 17,9-inch infotainment screen, which houses controls for most vehicle functions and runs BMW's latest iDrive software. A new 43,3-inch "panoramic iDrive" display spans the length of the dashboard, positioned at the base of the windshield, showing vehicle information such as speed and battery level. The new steering wheel incorporates haptic controls.
