Both Veloz versions, Toyota's best-selling MPV model, are offering a 100% registration fee waiver in May. With respective retail prices of 638 million VND and 660 million VND, the Toyota Veloz discount amounts to approximately 64-66 million VND (based on a 10% registration fee). This brings the actual out-of-pocket cost for customers down to 574-594 million VND.

Beyond the registration fee waiver, the Veloz also includes a one-year body insurance package. The total discount customers can receive at dealerships for this model may exceed 70 million VND.

At dealerships, the Veloz's primary sales rival, the Mitsubishi Xpander, also offers discounts of tens of millions of VND through registration fee waivers. Xpander versions feature reductions ranging from 53-75 million VND.

In May, beyond the Veloz, many Toyota models are also discounted to stimulate demand. For example, the Toyota Avanza includes a 100% registration fee waiver, equivalent to 56-60 million VND.

Two other popular Toyota models, the Vios and Yaris Cross, share a 50% registration fee waiver. The Toyota Vios receives a discount of approximately 23-27 million VND at dealerships. The Yaris Cross discount is 33-37 million VND.

Toyota was the first manufacturer to announce April sales figures. The Japanese joint venture sold 6,378 vehicles, a 14% increase compared to the same period in 2025. Thanks to consistent, high-level promotions over recent months, the Veloz achieved a rare milestone as Toyota's best-selling model for a single month, with 1,503 units sold, followed by the Yaris Cross with 1,344 units.
