Footage shows the bus speeding through the intersection and continuing its movement even as two pedestrians were crossing at the designated crosswalk. Fortunately, both individuals, approaching from different directions, stopped in time, averting a collision.

Drivers must reduce speed when approaching intersections and yield to pedestrians. Vehicles, particularly buses carrying many passengers, should exercise extra caution, avoiding speeding and reckless driving to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.

Decree 168/2024 stipulates fines of 4-6 million VND for drivers who fail to yield to pedestrians, along with a deduction of two points from their driver's license.
