The new all-electric hatchback model is expected to be officially distributed by BYD in april, featuring upgrades in size, equipment, and operating range.

The new electric hatchback measures 4,290 x 1,770 x 1,570 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. These dimensions are slightly larger than the current model, resulting in improved interior space. The cabin now offers increased legroom for the second row, and is expected to include an electric adjustable driver's seat, automatic air conditioning, a rear armrest, a middle headrest, and 40:60 split-folding rear seats.

The new BYD Dolphin will feature front-wheel drive, delivering 94 horsepower and 180 Nm of torque. The manufacturer states that its battery pack provides an estimated range of 435 km on a full charge. The vehicle is also anticipated to include a driving password system, acting as a second layer of security that requires users to enter a PIN to activate the car after it has been unlocked with the key. Other expected features for this model include: a BYD app for remote vehicle management, entertainment karaoke, and V2L reverse charging.
