The vehicles featured in the video are the Aito M8 and M9, two products from the Huawei and Seres joint venture, launched in 4/2025. Both cars are equipped with LiDAR sensors and a system of multiple cameras around the vehicle.
The Aito M8 is among the first vehicles to integrate Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving ADS 4 technology, offering intelligent driving assistance and intelligent parking assistance.
The M8 and M9 also feature gesture control from outside the vehicle, often likened to "telepathy" or "magic" in controlling the car. This is enabled by cameras mounted on the B-pillars and a facial recognition system combined with Huawei's AI algorithms, which track the hand movements of nearby individuals. Users simply need to wave their hand, and the car doors will automatically slide open or close without requiring a touch to the handle.

Hand gestures can also serve as a confirmation command for the vehicle to begin autonomously reversing into a selected parking spot after the driver has exited the car. This action also allows the driver to summon the car to exit a parking space on its own.
In China, the Aito M8 is available in two versions: a pure electric model and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV), with prices starting at 359,800 CNY (50,000 USD) and reaching up to 449,800 CNY (61,000 USD).
The M9 also comes in two versions, similar to the M8, with prices ranging from 469,800 CNY (65,000 USD) to approximately 589,800 CNY (82,930 USD).
