On 15/3, Kawasaki Vietnam introduced the Z1100 SE ABS 2026, priced at 409 million VND. It comes in a single color option: Graphenesteel gray. The Z1100's arrival marks the end of the Z1000's journey, a nakedbike that was once popular in Vietnam.
The Kawasaki Z1100 inherits the Z1000's strengths, showcasing an aggressive and sporty design inspired by the Sugomi philosophy, which mimics predator animals. Its sculpted, muscular bodywork creates a distinct personality within its segment.

The Z1100 features a new headlight design, while its daytime running lights are positioned in front of the handlebars, similar to its predecessor. Built on a twin-spar aluminum frame, the engine also acts as a stressed member. The exhaust system has been redesigned, though it is less unconventional than the previous generation.
Regarding dimensions, the Kawasaki Z1100's length, width, height, and wheelbase remain largely similar to the previous model. It has a seat height of 815 mm and a ground clearance of 125 mm. The bike weighs approximately 221 kg wet and has a 17-liter fuel tank.
The SE version distributed in Vietnam boasts premium running gear. It utilizes Showa upside-down forks at the front and Ohlins rear shock absorbers. The front wheel features disc brakes with Brembo calipers, while the rear has a single disc brake.
The Japanese manufacturer states that the Z1100 offers more agile and comfortable handling than the older Z1000, thanks to handlebars that are 22 mm wider and positioned 13 mm further forward. The exhaust filter housing, located under the chassis, helps lower the center of gravity, enhancing stability at high speeds.

The Z1100's four-cylinder engine has a displacement of 1,099 cc, compared to the Z1000's 1,043 cc. This new engine produces 136 hp and 113 Nm of torque. Compared to the Z1000, the Kawasaki Z1100 offers slightly increased torque, while its power output is marginally lower.
The bike retains a 6-speed gearbox and includes rider aids such as a 6-axis sensor, traction control, braking force control (including cornering abs), cruise control, and a two-way quick shifter.
Priced at 409 million VND, the Kawasaki Z1100 competes with rivals in the large nakedbike segment, including: the BMW S 1000 R (779 million VND), Honda CB1000 Hornet (340 million VND), CB1000R (from 510.5 million VND), and Yamaha MT-10 (469 million VND).
