The Suzuki Fronx, an A-segment urban SUV, stands out with its coupe SUV design, featuring a roofline that slopes towards the rear. This design initially raised concerns about potentially affecting interior space, especially for the second row.

However, during the Car Test program, judges highly praised the interior space of this urban SUV. Suzuki attributes this to its "Sho-Sho-Kei-Tan-Bi" design philosophy, which emphasizes criteria such as "Small, Compact, Light, Short, Beautiful." A company representative stated that Suzuki focused on optimizing the interior structure instead of increasing exterior dimensions. This approach allows the Fronx to maintain a compact appearance while ensuring interior comfort.
The Fronx boasts a 2,520 mm wheelbase, larger than some models in its segment. This optimizes space for the second row, catering to urban families. The model also achieved a 5-star safety rating from ASEAN NCAP after a series of crash and safety assistance tests, incorporating features typically found in higher segments.

All three Fronx versions come equipped with six airbags, whereas competitors typically offer two or four. Other features include: a head-up display, a 360-degree camera, and a 9-inch central display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Japanese manufacturer also integrated advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for the Fronx, a feature almost no other model in its segment possesses.
"Thanks to these technologies, the Fronx offers a significant advantage in user value. Consumers do not have to compromise between cost and safety, especially for young families seeking peace of mind during travel," a company representative stated.
Regarding performance, the Fronx utilizes Suzuki's Heartect platform, which ensures stable operation at high speeds. Its minimum turning radius of 4,8 m allows for flexible maneuvering in crowded cities or narrow alleys. The mild hybrid (SHVS) technology optimizes fuel consumption, supports smooth acceleration, and reduces lag during startups. In the A-segment, most vehicles are equipped with conventional petrol engines. Some full hybrid models are available but are priced approximately 100 million dong higher.

The Fronx is powered by Suzuki's new-generation K15C engine, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters behind the steering wheel for a sporty driving experience. Most models in this segment use a CVT gearbox. With prices ranging from 520 to 649 million dong for its three versions, the Fronx is a compelling option for service businesses or families seeking a vehicle that balances design, technology, and driving performance.
This month, Suzuki is offering incentives of up to 60 million dong for the Fronx GLX version, equivalent to 100% of the registration fee. The GL and GLX Plus versions receive support of 26-35 million dong. Consequently, the A-segment SUV's price starts from 494 million dong, enhancing its competitiveness in the segment.
