VinFast sells over 1,100 electric motorbikes daily

The Vietnamese automaker announced record sales of 406,453 electric motorbikes in 2025, leading the domestic market, on 26/1.

VinFast's electric motorbike sales saw significant growth at the end of 2025, reaching 473% compared to 2024, leading the domestic market. A report from VinFast shows the company sold 406,453 units in 2025. This means approximately 1,115 VinFast electric motorbikes reached Vietnamese consumers each day.

Among VinFast's two-wheeled electric vehicle product range, the Evo model was the best-seller, with sales exceeding 250,000 units. Its accessible price and options for one or two batteries to extend range contributed to its success. VinFast stated that the Feliz, Klara, Vento, Vero X, Theon lines and models not requiring a driver's license, such as Motio, Zgoo, and Flazz, also contributed significantly to total sales in 2025.

The market's diverse product range, comprising over 10 models across various segments, is a key advantage helping VinFast meet the needs of most Vietnamese people. Additionally, the company offers flexible charging and battery swap solutions, helping to alleviate user apprehension when transitioning from traditional gasoline vehicles to electric ones.

The year 2025 also saw VinFast expand its distribution system to include hundreds of dealers and distributors nationwide. The company currently reports over 600 dealerships across all provinces and cities nationwide. This network operates alongside service workshops and public electric charging stations to support users. With its sales policy, VinFast also led by implementing hundreds of "swap gasoline for electric" events, making it convenient for users looking to switch to environmentally friendly vehicles.

Hoang Ha, General Director of VinFast Electric Motorbikes Vietnam, said 2025 was a pivotal year in the green transport transition, as evidenced by VinFast's sales. He also expressed optimism for 2026 sales, as VinFast plans breakthrough initiatives aimed at a green mobility future in Vietnam.

Early this year, VinFast launched four new electric motorbike models. These include three initial battery-swappable lines – Evo, Feliz II, and Viper – along with the Amio model, which integrates pedals for students. Currently, the company has completed its first system of 4,500 battery swap stations and expects to reach 45,000 swap cabinets within the first quarter.

Regarding sales, the company is implementing a "buy a vehicle for 0 dong" installment program, offering a 6% price reduction and 100% registration fee support (equivalent to 2% of the vehicle price). This program is applicable from 12/1 to 12/4. Additionally, the V-Green charging infrastructure is free for electric motorbikes until 31/5/2027, with free battery swaps for six months for individual customers and 12 months for Xanh SM Platform drivers.
