Asia Commercial Bank (ACB) has announced its dividend plan for 2025, proposing a total payout ratio of 20%, comprising 7% in cash and 13% in shares. This information was released in the bank's documents for its annual general meeting this year.
To facilitate the share dividend, ACB plans to issue approximately 667.7 million new shares. Successful execution of this plan would increase the bank's charter capital from 51,366 billion VND to 58,044 billion VND.
The total dividend for 2025 is lower than the previous five years. Between 2020 and 2024, ACB maintained a consistent shareholder reward policy, distributing a 25% dividend, with 15% in shares and 10% in cash.
Looking ahead, ACB also projects an increase in its 2026 dividend payout from 20% to 25%, consisting of 15% in shares and 10% in cash.
For 2026, the bank, under Chairman Tran Hung Huy, aims for a 14% increase in pre-tax profit, reaching 22,269 billion VND. Total assets, outstanding credit balances, and mobilized funds are all expected to grow by approximately 16%.
ACB intends to keep its non-performing loan ratio at 0.97%, significantly below the State Bank of Vietnam's target of under 2% for member institutions. Beyond financial objectives, ACB seeks to expand its ecosystem, enhance the role of its subsidiaries (such as ACBS), and plans to establish a new non-life insurance company in 2026.
In 2025, ACB reported a pre-tax profit of 19,539 billion VND, a 7% decrease compared to 2024. This reduction was primarily due to a substantial increase in credit risk provisioning in Q4 2025, which rose from 148 billion VND to 1,957 billion VND.
