Amway was recognized as the outstanding water purifier brand of 2025 at the Tech Awards on 8/1. This recognition followed its success at the "Product I Love" awards, part of the Tech Awards 2025, where the new eSpring water purifier and Atmosphere Mini air purifier both received accolades.
Marking its debut at the Tech Awards, Amway achieved a "hat-trick" of awards, signaling an impressive start to its mission of bringing health technology closer to Vietnamese consumers.

Following the awards ceremony, Ms. On Minh Hang, Deputy General Director of Amway Vietnam, discussed the milestones in the 40-year research and development journey of new eSpring and the role of new water filtration technologies in promoting health for Vietnamese people.
"Amway's biggest differentiator comes from 40 years of research and development in home water treatment," Ms. Hang stated. "Few brands globally can claim to have dedicated four decades to a single focus: delivering clean, safe water to consumers."
Amway's research into water quality began in the 1980s, long before water pollution became a global concern. The company's research team spent significant time monitoring global water pollution trends, proactively integrating newly identified "invisible" contaminants into its filtration process. The new eSpring is the latest outcome of this long-term research.

The new eSpring combines the Carbon e3 filter and UV-C LED lamp in a compact design. This system can reduce up to 170 contaminants and 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and cysts in water, as certified by NSF International.
Investing in the new eSpring's ability to filter "emerging contaminants" is a strategic research priority for Amway. The company identifies these "invisible" contaminants as a major threat to modern drinking water sources.

Current water sources are polluted by many substances that standard water systems may not yet account for, such as microplastics and "forever chemicals" like PFOA and PFOS. These substances can persist in the environment and accumulate in the human body, affecting health. Amway has researched these substances and developed methods to reduce them through continuous improvement of the new eSpring filter.
This intellectual investment is evident in the Carbon e3 filter, which integrates three different filter membranes within a compact cartridge. This design allows it to filter over 170 contaminants, including microplastics, PFOA, and PFOS. The water, already clean, then passes through a second purification area: the UV-C LED lamp. This method disinfects water without chemicals, as high-energy ultraviolet rays effectively destroy the DNA and RNA of microorganisms, according to the study "Virus inactivation by light."

The growth rate and sales of the new eSpring in Vietnam reflect a clear trend in current home health care. Launched in the Vietnamese market in early 2025, the new eSpring quickly gained recognition. Its growth and sales have been promising, with distributors nationwide making it available to consumers. Amway anticipates demand will continue to rise in 2026. For many years, new eSpring has been confirmed as the "World's No. 1 Best-Selling Home Water Treatment System" (based on Verify Markets' research on global sales in 2024. The claim is valid until 4/2027).
This indicates that Vietnamese consumers are becoming more aware of health care, starting with basics like drinking water. Consumers are no longer passively waiting but actively seeking solutions. Ms. Hang observed a distinct shift from a "good water" mindset to a "clean and safe water" mindset. A water source considered healthy must first be clean, free of contaminants, bacteria, viruses, and cysts. The new eSpring is designed to meet this need.

Amway aims to build a comprehensive health care ecosystem to support Vietnamese consumers. Present in over 100 countries and territories, Amway is developing a health ecosystem in Vietnam where all products are interconnected, working toward a common goal: enabling users to embrace "proactive healthy living."
Consumer trends are clearly evolving. Users are no longer seeking individual products but comprehensive, integrated solutions. They are concerned about drinking water quality, indoor air quality, daily nutrition, skin care, and even cooking methods. All these factors influence overall health. Amway has developed an ecosystem of products to help users create a "healthy home," including health supplements from Nutrilite, beauty products from Artistry, the new eSpring water purifier, and the Atmosphere Mini air purifier.
Research indicates that while the average life expectancy for Vietnamese people is nearly 75, their healthy life expectancy is only around 65 (according to the General Statistics Office Yearbook 2023 and WHO - Healthy life expectancy (HALE) at birth). Amway continues to apply advanced technologies to its products to support an improved quality of life. The company aims to provide solutions that help users live both longer and healthier lives, a future many anticipate.
