Enterprise Asia hosted the "Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards" (APEA) 2026 ceremony on the evening of 15/10 in TP HCM. Under the theme "Forging Legacy: Celebrating Excellence, Inspiring Tomorrow", the awards highlighted leaders and enterprises committed to innovation, responsible business practices, and long-term growth.
This year, the organizing committee received over 350 nominations across 5 categories: Asia's Excellent Enterprise, Fast Growing Enterprise, Inspiring Brand, Sustainable and Transparent Management Enterprise, and Asia's Outstanding Entrepreneur.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Fong Chan Onn, chairman of Enterprise Asia, stated that the business landscape is evolving at an unprecedented pace. Enterprises must not merely react but actively leverage innovation, strengthen collaboration, and embrace new opportunities. He emphasized that a clear direction and a long-term vision are crucial for sustainable growth and creating tangible value for the community.

In the Asia's Outstanding Entrepreneur category, the awards recognized entrepreneurs demonstrating vision, leadership, and the ability to steer their businesses toward sustainable development. Honorees included Mai The Toan, chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation, and Tran Khai Hoan, Board Member and General Director of Nam A Commercial Joint Stock Bank.
The Inspiring Brand category honored Bao Viet Life Corporation and Coteccons Construction Joint Stock Company for their positive brand influence, as well as the trust, choice, and support of the public.

Saigon International General Hospital (SIG) was recognized in the Fast Growing Enterprise category for its impressive development rate and ability to seize new opportunities.
The Asia's Excellent Enterprise category acknowledged businesses with sustainable business performance, strong internal capabilities, and contributions to economic development. Notable recipients included Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank (MB) and Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (Sabeco).
Meanwhile, the Sustainable and Transparent Management Enterprise category celebrated entities with robust governance foundations, exemplary leadership philosophies, and transparency in business operations. Awardees included Saigon Bank for Industry and Trade, Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited, and Kafi Securities Joint Stock Company.

Established in 2007, the "Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards" (APEA) is one of the most esteemed awards in the region. It recognizes outstanding enterprises and entrepreneurs for their achievements in leadership, business, and long-term contributions to the community and society.
APEA is currently present in 16 markets across Asia. The awards serve as a platform for leading entrepreneurs and companies to connect, foster collaboration, and promote a strong entrepreneurial spirit within the Asian business community.
