Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam continues to be honored at APEA 2026

Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam was recognized in the "Asia's outstanding enterprise" category, marking its fourth consecutive year being honored at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) on 15/10.

The APEA 2026 revolved around the theme Forging Legacy: Honoring excellence, inspiring the future. Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam was named in the "Asia's outstanding enterprise" category for its achievements across many areas, from product innovation, improving production efficiency, applying technology, developing talent, practicing sustainable development, to social responsibility.

A representative from Wipro Consumer Care Vietnam expressed delight that the team's efforts were recognized. For many years, the company's leadership has determined that long-term growth comes not only from business results but also from adaptability, an innovative spirit, and a foundation built over time.

"We continuously invest in people, technology, operations, and sustainable development so that the values created today can continue to contribute to the enterprise in the future," the representative stated.

Innovation for market adaptation

The company believes the fast-moving consumer goods industry has a high rate of change. Only by grasping consumer preferences and transforming these changes into suitable products, sales channels, or operational methods can the unit adapt to the times.

From this perspective, Wipro intensified research, formula development, and product improvements, notably for brands like Romano, Enchanteur, and MaxKleen. Simultaneously, the company strengthened its operations across traditional sales channels, supermarkets, and e-commerce to increase consumer access.

Beyond product innovation, the unit also focuses on manufacturing. In production, the leadership implemented Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and automation methods, aiming to enhance productivity, quality, and process efficiency.

At the digitalization level, Everest and SAP WelConnect platforms standardize data, processes, and connectivity between departments. According to the unit's representative, modernizing the human resources system creates a more convenient experience for Wiproites (the collective of employees), promoting consistent organizational operation.

Boosting AI training for employees

The company identifies that one foundation for technology to create value is people's ability to understand, apply, and master tools. Over one year, Wipro deployed over 10 AI training programs for employees nationwide, simultaneously forming an AI Champion community in each department.

Instead of viewing AI as a mere tool, the leadership aims to build the capability to apply artificial intelligence in each function. This encourages staff to share knowledge, experiment with new initiatives, and proactively seek more effective ways of working.

A spirit of learning and innovation is fostered through various talent development activities. Through specialized skill enhancement courses and national and international leadership training, staff access new knowledge, interact with colleagues from diverse countries, and broaden their perspectives beyond daily work.

Additionally, internal experience-sharing activities contribute to building a learning culture, spreading knowledge, and helping each individual develop their capabilities.

Beyond capability development, Wipro strives for a positive work environment, ensuring employees feel cared for, recognized, and proud to be part of the team. A series of engagement activities, mental well-being support, and individual contribution recognition are maintained. Simultaneously, talent development programs like "Sales trainee - Probationary sales supervisor" create opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and develop their careers with Wipro.

"Investing in people and building a learning culture is how we meet current needs, preparing for future opportunities and challenges," the representative said.

Social responsibility and sustainable development

In manufacturing, the company implements initiatives using solar energy, collecting and reusing rainwater, reducing waste, and continuously improving processes to use resources more efficiently.

Regarding people, the company maintains employee engagement activities, spreading positive values. The annual Spirit of Wipro Run 2026, held simultaneously in TP HCM and Ha Noi on 4/10, saw 1,700 registrations from employees, family members, and company partners. Organizers also arranged fundraising booths, sports festivals, lucky draws, and art auctions. Revenue from the run and recreational activities amounted to approximately 232 million dong, contributed to the Spirit of Wipro Run fund.

The unit also implemented an initiative to reuse old computers, donating them to employees' children within the company. Extending the lifespan of devices helps limit resource waste and provides children with more opportunities to access technology.

The company also promotes community campaigns, supporting people affected by natural disasters and other social responsibility programs.
