Techcom Life, licensed by the Ministry of Finance in 7/2025, officially expanded its operations nationwide from 1/2026. Since then, the company has consistently recorded notable business results, demonstrating rapid growth in the competitive insurance market.
In Quarter II 2026, Techcom Life's new business premium revenue, calculated by first-year premium (FYP), reached 534,7 billion VND. Cumulatively for six months, this figure climbed to nearly 760 billion VND, propelling the company to the 5th position in the market for new business revenue and establishing its leadership in the bancassurance distribution channel.
This growth momentum continued into Quarter III, with new business revenue reaching approximately 652 billion VND, an increase of 22% compared to the previous quarter. The company maintained its position among the top 5 life insurance companies with the highest new business revenue in the market. This achievement is particularly significant as it occurred during a period when the overall life insurance industry revenue experienced a decline of approximately 9% year-on-year.
Alongside its strong business performance, Techcom Life increased its charter capital from 1,900 billion VND to 4,300 billion VND, representing an increase of approximately 126%. This significant capital injection was approved by Techcombank on 30/6/2026, which passed a resolution to add 2,400 billion VND to the company's charter capital. The Ministry of Finance subsequently approved this increase, providing Techcom Life with additional resources to invest in technology, develop innovative products, and expand its business operations in the next phase of its development.
Applying technology in insurance
One of Techcom Life's core strategic directions since its inception has been the comprehensive application of technology, data, and artificial intelligence (AI) across its business operations. This approach spans product development, sales, underwriting, and customer care, aiming to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
The company developed proprietary platforms such as iProtek, Tori, and LUMOS Engine. These tools support its consulting force, improve operational efficiency, and simplify the insurance enrollment process for customers.

In terms of product innovation, Infinite Care health insurance quickly became Techcom Life's largest revenue-contributing add-on product within three months of its launch. This product offers annual protection limits of up to 5 billion VND, integrates a "family sharing" feature, and utilizes an AI-powered claims resolution process, streamlining support for policyholders.
In 8/2026, Techcom Life further enhanced its services by launching the OnePass quick underwriting feature, developed through a partnership with international reinsurer RGA. This solution allows eligible customers to answer just one health question, significantly simplifying the application process compared to the usual multi-question declaration. According to the company, OnePass is currently applied to nearly 38% of insurance applications.

The company's focus on product and service development is also reflected in its customer experience metrics. Techcom Life recorded a customer satisfaction score (CSAT) of 4,9/5 and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 89. In its first year of operation, the company received four international awards from The Asian Banker Vietnam Awards and Insurance Asia Awards, recognizing its initiatives in product, technology, and digital transformation.
In addition to the capital increase, Techcom Life strengthened its shareholder structure with the participation of One Mount Group as a strategic shareholder specializing in technology and data. This partnership aligns with Techcom Life's direction to expand investment in digital platforms, data analytics capabilities, and AI applications within its insurance operations.
Techcom Life also actively engages in community activities, including the "Sow Love with Techcom Life" program, with a committed matching budget of 10 billion VND in 2026. The company was the main sponsor for the Kids Run children's race and the National Record Breaking 42 km category award within the Techcombank International Marathon in Hanoi.

Reflecting on the first year of operations, Mukesh Pilania, General Director of Techcom Life, stated that the company is progressively realizing its goal of reshaping the insurance industry. This is achieved through technology platforms and continuous innovation, enhancing product and service quality, and fostering a customer-centric experience journey.
"The increase in charter capital to 4,300 billion VND further strengthens the long-term commitment of shareholders to Techcom Life, while providing additional resources for us to invest in technology, product innovation, and expand distribution capabilities as we enter the next development phase", he said.
According to a company representative, these efforts aim to redefine the life insurance experience for Vietnamese customers, contributing to the sustainable development of the domestic insurance market.
