Bayer Vietnam's expanded new warehouse facility is strategically located in the heart of Long Hau Industrial Park, adjacent to Ho Chi Minh City. This prime location facilitates efficient goods delivery and provides convenient access to international seaports and the city's central area.

The warehouse meets Good Storage Practice (GSP) standards, enhancing the storage and distribution capacity for medical supplies and healthcare products across Vietnam.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by representatives from the German Consulate General, Bayer, and PhytoPharma.

Speaking at the inauguration, Andrea Maria Suehl, German Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, commended Bayer's investment and partnership in Vietnam's healthcare sector.

Guests explored the warehouse's design, which integrates advanced technologies. It features a warehouse management system (WMS) for precise and optimal inventory control. A building management system (BMS) intelligently automates mechanical and electrical operations, controlling environmental factors, security, and energy for optimized performance. A 24/7 technical monitoring team, operated by partner PhytoPharma, oversees these systems.

Guests toured the warehouse, observing the application of advanced technologies, including a high-efficiency solar energy system designed to reduce carbon emissions.

During the ceremony, Maximillian Rummert, general director of Bayer Vietnam, reaffirmed the group's commitment as a foreign direct investment (FDI) enterprise. He emphasized continued strategic investment to enhance healthcare quality for the Vietnamese people.

Bayer Vietnam Limited, a subsidiary of the Bayer Group, has operated in Vietnam since 1994. The company maintains a manufacturing plant in Dong Nai and two offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Bayer's Pharmaceuticals division specializes in prescription drugs, focusing on cardiovascular health, women's healthcare, contrast agents for diagnostic imaging, and specialized treatments in oncology, hematology, and ophthalmology. Its Consumer Health division provides over-the-counter products, empowering consumers in self-care for healthier, happier lives.
