Cadivi's household electrical wires achieve international certification

Cadivi receives TUV Rheinland certification for its LF lead-free electrical wires, marking a step forward in the company's strategy to enhance quality standards.

Le Tran Vinh, general director of Cadivi, stated that the TUV Rheinland certification is not merely technical recognition but also reflects the consistent development direction the company has pursued for many years.

"We do not view international standards as short-term goals but as the foundation for a long-term investment strategy in quality, safety, and sustainable development," he affirmed.

According to Vinh, becoming one of the first companies in Vietnam to achieve TUV Rheinland certification for its lead-free household electrical wire series demonstrates Cadivi's commitment to proactively applying international standards, even within the domestic market. This also prepares the company to progressively enhance its competitiveness, meeting the increasingly stringent requirements of regional and international markets, and fostering long-term partnerships with customers and collaborators.

Beyond technical aspects, the TUV Rheinland certification also serves as an endorsement for the Cadivi brand in the market and among partners. This foundation enables the company to continue participating in projects demanding high standards, such as urban areas, infrastructure works, industrial plants, or projects with international components.

Concurrently, Cadivi has proactively developed its lead-free household electrical wire series and additionally achieved SGBP (Singapore Green Building Product) certification, awarded by the Singapore Green Building Council. This indicates that the company focuses not only on production capabilities but also prioritizes safety and sustainable development.

This strategic direction reflects the company's efforts to align with Vietnam's sustainable development goals, including the government's roadmap for emissions reduction and net zero by 2050. This is an inevitable trend in the modern electrical material market, where quality, transparency, and environmental responsibility are increasingly vital selection criteria.

Vietnam Electric Cable Corporation (Cadivi), established in 1975, specializes in manufacturing various types of wires and electrical cables. The company's products are utilized in power industry projects, industrial and civil construction, national defense, and public works. All electrical cables meet national and international quality standards. Cadivi currently operates manufacturing plants and member companies, alongside a nationwide distribution network.

TUV Rheinland (Germany) is a leading independent certification body in Europe. The TUV Rheinland certification not only confirms that a product meets strict safety standards but also verifies the ability to consistently control quality throughout the manufacturing process. The assessment procedure is rigorously implemented, from testing product technical characteristics and evaluating materials to inspecting production conditions and the ability to maintain long-term consistency. For the electrical cable industry, these requirements are highly selective and suitable only for companies with a robust technical foundation.
