Echo did not disclose the deal's value but stated the acquisition will expand its scale and accelerate the development of ITS's products and services through Echo's technology platform. Echo completed two mergers and acquisitions in 2025 to increase its operational scale.
"This is a significant strategic opportunity for Echo and our customers," said CEO Doug Waggoner. He noted that ITS has developed a unique set of solutions, particularly its drop-trailer and trailer yard capabilities, combined with leading execution, ensuring reliability and flexibility within complex logistics networks.
"Integrating Echo's proprietary technology, advanced analytics, and artificial intelligence capabilities into ITS's solutions will strengthen the value we provide to a broader range of customers," he added.
Scott Pruneau, CEO of ITS Logistics, stated that joining forces with Echo opens an exciting new chapter for ITS Logistics. He believes Echo's scale in truckload freight brokerage, transportation management platform, cross-border capabilities, and multimodal portfolio – combined with its artificial intelligence-driven technology and innovation platform – will elevate ITS's services and increase customer value.
"Together, we possess the capabilities to help customers navigate increasing supply chain complexities, delivering smarter, more connected solutions that generate tangible results," he further commented.
ITS's current management team will continue to lead the business post-merger.
The two companies announced that the combined entity's pro forma revenue for 2025 is projected to reach USD 5,4 billion.
