Gasoline RON 95-III, a common type on the market, decreased by 80 dong, reaching 18,630 dong per liter. Similarly, E5 RON 92 also fell by 90 dong, with a new price of 18,280 dong.
In contrast, all oil products saw increases ranging from 260-470 dong per liter compared to the previous adjustment period. Specifically, diesel rose to 17,700 dong per liter and kerosene to 17,950 dong.

On 16/1, Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, stated that a new Decree on fuel business management will be issued. This Decree aims to replace previous regulations and is expected to grant businesses the authority to manage and independently determine fuel prices.
In addition, regulators plan to develop a commercial infrastructure map application. This application will utilize data reported by businesses and traders, enabling consumers to monitor price declarations effectively.
This year, Vietnam has set a target for two-digit economic growth. To support this objective, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has assigned a minimum total fuel supply of 31,7 million cubic meters and tons. Fuel traders are responsible for ensuring production and supply for the entire system.
