The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Haeco and the School of Mechanical Engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) took place on 22/4 at the School of Mechanical Engineering – HUST.
This collaboration combines Haeco's over 70 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services with HUST's academic foundation in technical training, applied research, and corporate partnerships.
This initiative aligns with Haeco's long-term commitment to supporting the development of Vietnam's aviation industry by training local talent and creating employment opportunities as the company expands its presence in Southeast Asia, one of the world's fastest-growing aviation markets.

At the event, Tom Owen, Haeco Group Business Development Director, stated that the company builds its reputation on safety, quality, and capability across all markets it serves. He added that collaborating with one of Vietnam's most prestigious universities provides a training platform for a new generation of talent, fostering industry development and supporting long-term growth in the region.
Associate Professor, Doctor Truong Hoanh Son, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, stated that Hanoi University of Science and Technology consistently equips students with knowledge to meet the evolving demands of the industry. "Given Haeco's reputation in aviation and aircraft maintenance, alongside its commitment to developing the future workforce, we aim to build a long-term cooperative relationship in student training, scholarship provision, and career development", Mr. Son said.
