Hermes Logistics Technologies (HLT) has been selected to provide a comprehensive software ecosystem for Cargo Terminal number 1 at Long Thanh International Airport. This state-of-the-art terminal, an investment by Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), is slated for completion by late 2026. The project aims to establish Long Thanh as a pivotal new cargo transshipment hub in Southeast Asia.
Following a competitive bidding process, Aviation Products and Maintenance (AVPM), a Vietnamese company, was chosen to implement the technology and systems for the terminal. AVPM, in turn, selected HLT as its partner to supply the essential cargo management software.

Under the agreement, HLT will deliver a cloud-based software ecosystem as a service (SaaS). This advanced system supports core operations including data analytics, cargo tracking and tracing, API integration, and landside management. Additionally, a training management system will be deployed to enhance connectivity and transparency among airlines, ground handling units, and logistics partners operating at the airport.
Hoang Van Giai, Deputy Director of AVPM, highlighted the significance of this technological deployment. He stated that these systems are crucial for establishing a modern, efficient, and future-ready cargo operation model at Long Thanh Airport, aligning with its strategic regional role.
Yuval Baruch, CEO of Hermes Logistics Technologies, underscored the importance of the Long Thanh project. He described Long Thanh Airport as an iconic undertaking for Vietnam's aviation industry and expressed HLT's pride in partnering with AVPM to develop robust cargo operations at the site.
The Cargo Terminal number 1 project at Long Thanh also signifies a strategic expansion of HLT's operations within Vietnam. It adds a significant large-scale logistics project to the company's growing portfolio, complementing its existing client base in the region.
