HR Asia announces 'Best companies to work for in Asia 2025'

HR Asia magazine announced the list of Vietnamese businesses that received the HR Asia - Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 award on 14/8.

The award recognizes efforts to improve the work environment and retain employees amidst increasing competition for talent. This year, 119 businesses were nominated.

This year's event theme was "The Power of Multi-Generations." HR Asia representatives stated that the winning companies met criteria for employee retention, tech talent acquisition, and multi-generational work environments, showcasing scalable models and solutions.

Regarding employee retention, the winning companies implemented effective strategies: establishing internal transfer and training programs (to reduce the pressure of external recruitment), designing separate benefit packages for different employee groups (flexible benefits and schemes suitable for each life stage and generation). Maintaining continuous feedback mechanisms for early detection of potential resignations was also a key criterion.

In terms of recruiting tech talent, many companies proactively developed internal resources, using structured rotations to cultivate technology-related skills, building targeted recruitment channels, and incorporating short-term certifications.

This year's awards included a new category: the HR Asia Tech Empowerment Awards. This category recognizes organizations with initiatives and technology applications that yield high returns on investment, enhance employee capabilities and experiences, going beyond simple task automation. The honored companies also met the criteria for multi-generational work environments.

The Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025 awards were presented in 15 markets: China, Cambodia, Hong Kong (China), Indonesia, India, Japan, South Korea, Macau (China), Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan (China), Thailand, UAE, and Vietnam.
