Huynh Thy attends major logistics and seaport forum in Europe

Huynh Thy Group, alongside over 4,500 businesses and experts in the seaport and logistics sector, attended TOC Europe 2026 from 19-21/5 to update on operational technology and automation trends.

The event, held in Hamburg, Germany, gathered over 4,500 experts and businesses from over 100 countries, active in port operations, container shipping, logistics, automation, and maritime technology.

Notably, Huynh Thy Group was the sole Vietnamese enterprise participating in this year's event. According to a company representative, their presence at TOC Europe 2026 aimed not only to connect with international partners but also to seize the opportunity to update on advanced seaport operational technology trends being applied in many countries. This will enable them to research and gradually integrate these into Vietnam's logistics and seaport ecosystem.

Key topics at this year's event focused on smart ports, artificial intelligence in logistics, terminal automation, lifting equipment technology, carbon emission reduction, and supply chain optimization. These trends are expected to significantly impact the global logistics industry in the coming period.

With over 15 years of establishment and development, Huynh Thy Group has gradually built its position in industrial equipment, construction machinery, and logistics infrastructure. The company currently develops comprehensive solutions for the industrial, transportation, and seaport sectors. It provides compressed air systems, industrial gas treatment equipment, construction and mining machinery, transportation solutions, tractor trucks, and port crane systems for container handling operations.

Concurrently, the company also promotes technical services, maintenance, repair, and equipment rental to meet the increasing operational demands of the domestic logistics and industrial markets.

According to a company representative, Huynh Thy Group's current direction extends beyond product supply. It aims to develop a comprehensive operational solution ecosystem for the seaport and logistics sectors, focusing on technology, efficiency, and optimizing operational costs.

Beyond equipment and technical services, Huynh Thy Group also invests in training and technology transfer for the seaport industry. The company is currently developing a crane operator training center using simulation technology, while also researching the application of digitalization and automation in port operations to enhance human resource capabilities and increase the competitiveness of the domestic logistics sector.

A company representative stated that Huynh Thy Group is fostering cooperation with its Japanese partner, MITSUI E&S, for technology transfer and the development of STS/RTG port crane equipment in Vietnam. This is considered a strategic step to gradually localize seaport equipment, meet domestic market demand, and aim for exports to regional countries in the future.

As import-export activities and container transport continue to grow, the demand for technology application and operational optimization is projected to play an increasingly important role in Vietnam's logistics industry. Participating in international specialized exhibitions like TOC Europe is expected by the company to open further opportunities for networking, accessing new technologies, and fostering cooperation in the seaport, logistics, and transport infrastructure sectors.
