J&T adds light electric trucks to delivery fleet

J&T Express Philippines continues to expand its electric vehicle fleet, promoting green logistics and moving towards zero-emission operations in its delivery chain.

J&T Express Philippines recently received a new electric vehicle from QSJ Motors Phils, Inc., enhancing its green logistics strategy.

According to a press release, the Tiger 6G EV is a light electric truck designed for efficient, emission-free transport. It features a 100 kW battery, offering a maximum range of 300 km per charge, complemented by a mobile charging solution for flexible daily operations. The Tiger 6G EV includes an anti-lock braking system, non-automatic electronic parking brake, electric power steering, multi-function steering wheel, heated side mirrors, an elevated cargo box, a reverse camera integrated with the central control screen, reverse sensors, and automatic led lights.

As a pure electric vehicle, the Tiger 6G EV produces no emissions, providing an eco-friendly alternative to traditional fuel-powered commercial vehicles.

This addition marks a significant step in the "Innovation in Every Delivery 2025" roadmap, reinforcing J&T Express's role in developing sustainable logistics in the Philippines.

As part of this strategy, Zoe Chi, Vice President of J&T Express Philippines, led discussions with vehicle suppliers to drive industry reform and prioritize green logistics nationwide.

"Electric vehicles are just one of many solutions to promote green logistics. J&T Express will continue to expand efforts to minimize the environmental impact of its operations", said Zoe Chi.

She also praised QSJ Motors Phils, Inc.'s partnership, seeing it as a commitment to J&T Express's ongoing sustainable development initiatives.

QSJ Motors, a current supplier for J&T Express's delivery fleet, is increasingly focused on sustainable transport solutions. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to green logistics and carbon neutrality initiatives. J&T Express previously deployed its first electric vehicle fleet in partnership with HOWO.
