On 7/7, Jingdong Property (JDP), the infrastructure investment and management platform of JD.com, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Abu Dhabi Airports in Abu Dhabi. The agreement aims to develop and operate a state-of-the-art logistics center within the Abu Dhabi Airport Free Zone (ADAFZ). This project marks JDP's first venture in the Middle East, representing a significant step in the company's global expansion strategy.
With a planned construction area of approximately 70,000 m2, the logistics center is poised to become a crucial transportation gateway, catering to the growing cross-border e-commerce demands in the region. The project will also enhance air cargo capacity and distribution services across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

This will attract investment, create high-quality jobs, and strengthen Abu Dhabi's role in the global supply chain," she said.
Cao Dong, CEO of Jingdong Property, expressed enthusiasm about partnering with ADAFZ to develop high-standard warehousing projects within the ADAFZ Logistics Park. This agreement marks a significant milestone for both parties. In the future, we look forward to expanding our cooperation, increasing investment, and working together towards long-term, sustainable growth," he stated.
The project will feature advanced automation systems and a digital warehouse management platform, leveraging cutting-edge technology from JD.com. The center will provide integrated warehousing services and value-added solutions tailored to diverse business needs. It is expected to be a strong foundation for businesses inside and outside the region to reduce logistics costs, shorten delivery times, and mitigate operational risks when expanding into the Middle East market.
