According to MSC, the Sambar route operates independently, providing customers with a direct corridor option and faster transit times. The company has also enhanced its Pertiwi service to shorten connections from northern and southern China to Indonesia, and its Orchid service, which links southern China with Vietnam.
These changes will take effect from late October to early November. Specifically, the Sambar service will commence on 29/10 with the vessel MSC Vigor calling at Dalian (China). On the same day, the improved Pertiwi service will begin with the vessel Athena, while the Orchid service will operate from 5/11 with the vessel MSC Makalu.
The Sambar route schedule includes the following ports: Dalian - Incheon - Tianjin/Xingang - Qingdao - Da Chan Bay - Dong Nai - Laem Chabang - Singapore - Penang - Pasir Gudang - Singapore - Tanjung Pelepas - Busan - Dalian.
The Pertiwi route is expected to call at: Busan - Dalian - Tianjin/Xingang - Qingdao - Shekou - Singapore - Jakarta - Panjang - Jakarta - Singapore - Hong Kong - Nansha - Busan.
Meanwhile, the Orchid route will visit the following ports: Fuzhou - Shantou - Hong Kong - Shekou - Yantian - Hai Phong - Singapore - Qinzhou - Hong Kong - Fuzhou.
MSC stated that the implementation and enhancement of these services aim to increase reliability, strengthen its market position, and offer more convenient transport options for customers.
