MUJI Vietnam's new store is located on basement 1 of Hanoi Centre shopping mall on Nguyen Thai Hoc street, Hanoi. This multi-functional complex, which recently opened, combines retail space, offices, and serviced apartments. It marks the brand's 18th store in Vietnam and its eighth in Hanoi.
The brand continues to expand its business operations in Hanoi, aiming to strengthen its presence and reputation among the capital's customers. "We hope MUJI Hanoi Centre will quickly become a familiar destination for both local residents and tourists," stated Tetsuya Nagaiwa, General Director of MUJI Vietnam.

The new store, covering over 1,900 square meters, features a design that blends the capital's historical identity and traditional culture with the Japanese brand's signature minimalist style. Natural materials such as terracotta floor tiles and recycled wood create a warm, inviting atmosphere for customers. Additionally, the Japanese retailer has added a distinctive local touch with a mosaic mural behind the checkout counter, crafted from waste ceramics by artisans from Lien Mac village, Thuong Cat, Hanoi.
A highlight of MUJI Hanoi Centre is a dedicated display area for MUJI Labo, a product line embodying an experimental design ethos. The Fall-Winter 2025 collection, themed "origin from culture" and "origin from nature," draws inspiration from traditional garment techniques. It combines carefully selected materials to create designs that are refined in shape and emphasize practicality.

Like other standard stores, the new location offers a diverse product catalog, including apparel, home goods, stationery, food, and health and beauty products. All products are developed based on the three core principles the brand consistently pursues: careful material selection, streamlined processes, and simplified packaging.
Furthermore, the new store provides unique brand services, such as: embroidery, pant hemming, and interior consultation, ensuring customers have a complete experience when visiting and shopping. The store also features interactive spaces for customers to relax and unwind, including: a cafe and snack area at MUJI Cafe; a free stamp service to personalize paper products with MUJI Yourself; and themed workshops at the Open MUJI space.
Speaking about the brand's growth in the capital, Tetsuya Nagaiwa noted: "The brand has been present in Hanoi for over four years. With this new store, we hope to continue being a useful companion, bringing comfort and inspiration to the daily lives of Hanoians in particular and Vietnamese people in general."
To celebrate its grand opening, the new store offers various promotional programs, including: limited-edition gifts for the first 150 customers daily on the first two opening days (27-28/12); discounts on many selected home goods and apparel, from 27/12 to 4/1/2026; and a gift set with a 200,000 VND shopping voucher for orders from 1 million VND, from 27/12 to 4/1/2026.
