NCB wins two awards at HR Asia Awards 2025

National Citizen Commercial Joint Stock Bank (NCB) was honored with two awards, “Best Companies to Work for in Asia” and “Tech Empowerment Awards,” at the HR Asia Awards 2025 ceremony on 14/8.

The annual HR Asia Awards recognize companies with outstanding HR policies, attractive compensation packages, and top-tier work environments. This year’s theme, "Multi-Generation Synergy," acknowledges organizations that foster a harmonious work environment across generations, promoting collaboration and sustainable growth. The rigorous evaluation process, based on the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) and in-depth interviews, ensures objectivity and adherence to strict criteria.

In the "Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2025" category, NCB scored 4.67/5. Its scores for Core, Self, and Group values were 4.53, 4.69, and 4.78 respectively, exceeding both the average scores of participating companies and NCB's own previous results. This is the third consecutive year the bank has received this award.

NCB also won the “Tech Empowerment Awards 2025” in its first year of participation. This recognition stems from the bank’s investments in infrastructure upgrades and technology solutions throughout the past year. A key objective of these projects is to create a modern, dynamic, and efficient digital work environment that enhances employee experience. This also fosters a "digital culture" where people, technology, and data work together to create value in the new era.

According to NCB, HR remains a core focus in 2025, built on six pillars: compensation and benefits, development opportunities, work culture and environment, open leadership, ideal work, and company reputation. All activities are aligned with the five core values of "Loyalty, Trust, Dedication, Tact, and Sublimation," forming the bank’s HR DNA and strengthening bonds across the system.

With a workforce spanning three generations, primarily Gen Y and Gen Z, along with several new senior leaders, NCB emphasizes high-quality service, digital transformation capabilities, and a multi-generational environment rich in development and advancement opportunities. The bank encourages diversity, enabling different generations to support and learn from each other, fostering a dynamic, creative, enthusiastic, and cohesive team.

Ta Kieu Hung, General Director of NCB, stated that the bank prioritizes HR, focusing on competitive compensation, expanding development opportunities, especially for young staff, and implementing a flexible empowerment mechanism. Each employee is equipped with the necessary skills and tools to adapt to the evolving landscape.

“We firmly believe that our people are our most valuable asset, the driving force behind our growth. NCB strives to create a happy work environment where everyone enjoys their work every day, contributing to the development of the organization and the community," Hung emphasized.

Over the past three years, the bank has strengthened its HR structure with the addition of numerous experienced personnel at all levels. Today, NCB boasts a highly qualified team, particularly at the senior level, with extensive experience and expertise in the finance and banking sector.
