OPES Insurance Corporation (OPES), Vietnam Prosperity Joint-Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank), and MSIG Vietnam Non-Life Insurance Company Limited (MSIG) donated 30 million VND to the Breast Cancer Network of Vietnam (BCNV) on 18/7 to support their wig fund for cancer patients. This donation is part of BCNV's "Hair Library" program, launched in 2015, with the message "Give Hair - Sow Hope". The contribution will be used to create 8 wigs from donated human hair, which are expected to be delivered to patients at Nghe An Oncology Hospital soon.

Pham Thi Huong Giang, Director of Communications and Marketing at OPES, said that partnering with BCNV in this activity is meaningful both materially and emotionally.
"We hope this gift will provide comfort, like a friend always present during the patients' most challenging times. This is also an opportunity to raise community awareness about healthcare and proactive disease prevention," she shared.
At the ceremony, a BCNV representative expressed gratitude to the companies and hoped for more meaningful activities in the future to support patients during their treatment.
According to BCNV, the "Hair Library" program uses real hair donated by the community. The hair is processed into wigs that can be cleaned, styled, and given free of charge to cancer patients. To date, over 200,000 hair donations have been recorded, helping thousands of patients feel more confident during treatment.
In addition, the organization also carries out other activities such as free screening, awareness-raising workshops, donating bras to mastectomy patients, and providing mental health support to patients and their families.

According to an OPES representative, this program is part of the company's and its partners' long-term commitment to providing protection solutions against the risks of critical illnesses. The VPB O.Life+ insurance product, jointly developed by OPES, VPBank, and MSIG, is expected to help patients reduce financial burdens, access timely medical services, and maintain a positive attitude during treatment.
The companies said they will continue to participate in corporate social responsibility activities, aiming to create sustainable value for the community. Priority will be given to vulnerable groups at high risk or affected by social risks, such as patients with critical illnesses, children affected by traffic accidents, and farmers impacted by climate change and environmental degradation.
