The annual HR Asia Awards, organized by HR Asia magazine, honors companies with outstanding human resource policies, competitive compensation, and engaging work environments. Companies are evaluated based on the Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) and in-depth interviews, ensuring objectivity and adherence to strict criteria regarding employee engagement, sustainable development, and multi-generational collaboration.
This year, SHBFinance was recognized for its comprehensive human resources strategy, which places people at the center and views technology as a driver of growth. The company identifies its employees as one of six key customer groups, alongside customers, partners, shareholders, government, and the community. Based on this foundation, the company has built a core value system with four principles: intelligence in products and technology, honesty in cooperation, courage in innovation, and friendliness and collaboration in teamwork.

During the 2024-2025 period, SHBFinance implemented a strategy of parallel human development and digital transformation. All HR processes, from recruitment and training to evaluation and operations, have been digitized, eliminating paperwork, optimizing efficiency, and enhancing the employee experience.
In 2023-2024, the company's IT personnel tripled, from 30 to over 100, supported by a talent acquisition policy offering competitive salaries, a flexible environment, and a clear career path. These efforts led to SHBFinance being named "Best IT Company in Vietnam" by ITviec in early 2025.
The company currently has a multi-generational workforce: 60% are Gen Z, 38% Gen Y, and 2% Gen X, who hold strategic leadership roles. The combination of youthful innovation and seasoned experience, along with the participation of international staff from five countries and the support of its parent company from Thailand, helps SHBFinance maintain a continuous learning environment and a long-term competitive advantage.
Olena Khlon, general director of SHBFinance, said that being named a "Best Workplace in Asia" for the second consecutive year is a testament to the company's continuous efforts and a source of pride for all employees.
"SHBFinance constantly nurtures a culture of continuous learning, mutual support, and self-motivation among its members. We will continue to create an ideal work environment, attract talent, and achieve new successes with SHB in Vietnam, Krungsri in Thailand, and MUFG in Japan," she emphasized.
