The event provided a forum for businesses to review the solar power market landscape, update on new industry developments, and share strategic perspectives and development directions for the next phase. This offered companies opportunities to connect resources, expand cooperation, and seek sustainable growth opportunities in 2026.
A key highlight of the program was the specialized presentations on industry policies and operations. These discussions focused on updating new regulations, analyzing policy impacts, and exchanging practical implementation experiences.
At the event, Nguyen Xuan Quy, Vice President of the Vietnam Clean Energy Association, presented a specialized topic on applying Decree 58/2025/ND-CP in business operations. Previously, on 3/3, the Government issued Decree 58 to detail certain provisions of the Electricity Law related to the development of renewable energy and new energy sources.
According to the decree, several incentive mechanisms were introduced to promote clean energy development, including rooftop solar power. At the event, association representatives analyzed key aspects of the decree and shared practical experiences to provide businesses with more information for implementing renewable energy projects.

Through these presentations, the program not only updated important policy changes but also helped shape strategic thinking, enabling businesses to adapt proactively to energy market fluctuations in this new phase. The event also offered an opportunity for the business community to reflect on the development journey of Vietnam's solar energy sector. From its initial phase with incentive policies to a period of investment boom and strong growth, the solar power industry is now entering a restructuring phase, aiming for sustainable, efficient development aligned with the national energy plan.
Over recent years, the solar power industry has experienced various development stages, from initial investment incentives to rapid project scale expansion. The market is now entering an adjustment phase to better align with the national energy plan and sustainable development orientation.
