This is the first aircraft in the airline's plan to acquire 8 A330 aircraft from 9/2026 to 4/2027.

With a range of up to 13,450 km, the A330 enhances the capability to operate international routes, allowing the airline to gradually connect Phu Quoc with major, high-potential tourism markets such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Japan, Australia, and further to several European destinations.

The A330 aircraft is designed with ba service classes, totaling 247 seats. The business class cabin features 20 seats that recline 180° into flat beds; premium economy has 21 seats, and economy class has 206 seats. All ba cabins are equipped with personal entertainment screens and in-flight Wi-Fi.

After nearly one year of operation, Sun Phuquoc Airways' fleet currently consists of 20 narrow-body A321 aircraft, including hai A321 long range (LR) models. The arrival of the wide-body A330 not only expands the fleet size but also enhances the experience on long-haul international journeys.

With the addition of wide-body aircraft, Sun Phuquoc Airways' fleet size is projected to reach 33 aircraft by the end of 2026, 60 aircraft by the end of 2027, and 100 aircraft by the end of 2030.

Within SPA's fleet structure, the A320/A321 serves as the backbone of its domestic network, the A321LR expands access to medium-haul international markets, while the A330 augments capacity for longer journeys. In the long term, the airline plans to use Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for intercontinental operations.

Currently, some domestic airlines, such as Vietjet Air, operate 7 wide-body A330 aircraft in their fleet, serving international routes.
