The Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer aims to establish a network for training and developing high-quality personnel for the industry. This is achieved through collaboration with 19 universities and colleges across the nation to train electric vehicle engineers. Key areas of this partnership include: automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical-electronics, automation, and information technology.
The global automotive industry's shift towards electric vehicles and smart technology has created a demand for highly skilled engineers. VinFast emphasizes that its workforce is a core factor for sustainable development, complementing its pillars of technology, products, and infrastructure.

Since late June, VinFast has consistently signed cooperation agreements with institutions nationwide. These include: Hue University, University of Science and Technology – Danang University, Thuy Loi University, Phenikaa University, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education. These partnerships establish a sustainable linkage model between businesses and entities focused on training, research, and technology application.
VinFast previously partnered with Hanoi University of Science and Technology and University of Science and Technology – Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, starting in 2024.
Through these collaborations, VinFast and its partners will standardize and update electric vehicle training programs based on industry needs. They will also expand internship and practical experience opportunities for students at VinFast. Concurrently, the company will foster applied research and the development of high-quality engineering talent.

Nguyen Minh Viet, Deputy General Director of VinFast's Vehicle Development Division, stated that partnering with universities is a strategic move to cultivate a generation of high-quality engineers prepared for future demands. He updated training institutions on the operations of the Vehicle Development and Quality Control Divisions, both central to VinFast's value chain.
The discussions covered organizational structure, roles, human resource development strategies, vehicle development processes, the production and business value chain, quality control systems, and the demand for engineers during VinFast's growth phase.
This collaboration provides a foundation for partners to refine training programs, aligning them with practical industry needs and expanding opportunities for research and technology development.

Associate Professor Doctor Le Tien Dung, Vice Rector of the University of Science and Technology – Danang University, affirmed their long-term commitment to VinFast in developing the industry's workforce. The university has identified 4 key cooperation areas, closely aligned with evolving technology trends and market demands.
Following the signing ceremony, representatives visited the VinFast factory in Hai Phong to observe its high-tech production environment and operational management systems.
