With the rise of digital media, online design platforms have become increasingly popular due to their user-friendly interfaces, diverse template libraries, and high degree of personalization. However, most existing tools are developed for a global audience and don't fully cater to the specific cultural, linguistic, and visual needs of Vietnamese users.
Created to address this gap, Penci, an AI-powered online design platform, is developed from a Vietnamese perspective, aiming to serve the domestic community with culturally relevant design solutions.

Penci founder Luu Lam Son, also the founder of The Gioi In An (World of Printing), a company with nearly 15 years of experience in the printing industry, explained that the platform was born from practical demands. He noted that many customers struggle to find suitable design templates for printing, often leading to outsourcing, which is time-consuming and expensive. Furthermore, the market lacks media publications for important occasions like the Hung Kings Commemoration, April 30 (Liberation Day), or September 2 (National Day). This is the reason behind Penci, an AI-integrated design platform that allows users to create their own appropriate templates for free.
The platform began its trial phase in April. To date, Penci has attracted attention from the domestic design community, surpassing 30,000 products, with content ranging from holidays and education to F&B, beauty, and construction. The company reports over 7,000 users and 20,000 designs created.

"These figures demonstrate the potential of a purely Vietnamese design platform that is easy to use and relatable to Vietnamese people," a Penci representative said. "Penci is not just a tech product, but also a testament to the creativity of young Vietnamese people during this period of rapid transformation in technology, branding, and identity."
Penci aims to become the leading online design platform in Vietnam, not only in terms of user numbers but also as a source of creative inspiration, accompanying the younger generation in their journey of shaping aesthetics and identity.
