First unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2021, Samsung's Neo QLED TVs garnered attention for their Mini LED technology. By using LEDs significantly smaller than those in conventional TVs, the product delivers high brightness, deep blacks, and excellent contrast thanks to superior local dimming capabilities. From its first generation, the product was hailed as the "best TV of all time" by German magazine Nghe Nhin, with a score of 966.
Samsung has continued to make improvements each year. The product has contributed to Samsung's number one global position, helping the giant capture 46.8% of the global QLED TV market share.

Five years later, the 2025 generation of Neo QLED TVs continues to help Samsung make its mark on the global stage. Notably, the Neo QLED 4K TV (model QN90F) was recently honored with TechRadar's Editor's Choice award and also received the Best Buy 2025 title from Expert Reviews. These specialist sites praised the TV's picture quality, local dimming capabilities, deep contrast, and outstanding overall performance. TechRadar declared the QN90F a remarkable Mini LED TV, setting a new standard for 2025.
This model utilizes Quantum Mini LED Pro technology with backlights only 2% the size of conventional LEDs, combined with Samsung's exclusive Glare Free screen for precise light control. The 3rd generation AI NQ4 processor integrates 128 neural networks, upscaling content to sharp 4K resolution. The Glare Free screen and 165 Hz refresh rate provide optimal support for watching movies, sports, and playing fast-paced games. Dolby Atmos sound, OTS+ technology, and a 4.2.2 CH 60W speaker system enhance the immersive experience.

In addition to the high-end model, the 2025 Neo QLED lineup also includes more affordable options like the QN80F and QN70F, which still feature Quantum Mini LED and QLED displays certified as Real Quantum Dot Displays by TÜV Rheinland. Samsung's quantum dot technology has also been certified by the international testing organization SGS (Societe Generale de Surveillance) as cadmium-free, eliminating this heavy metal harmful to health and the environment. These two models support a 144 Hz refresh rate, AI image upscaling, Object Tracking Sound, and modes optimized for dialogue in various environments.
With the integration of Vision AI, Neo QLED TVs improve display quality and increase user convenience. Instead of relying on a remote control, users can now control the TV with hand gestures while wearing a Galaxy Watch, thanks to the Universal Gesture feature. Users can also create unique TV backgrounds through a few keywords describing their mood with the Generative Wallpaper feature, or display copyrighted artworks from the Art Store, a collection of over 3,500 masterpieces from around the world.

The product can also save up to 25% energy with the AI Energy mode and provides 24/7 security through the internationally recognized Knox Security platform.
Its continued presence on ranking charts and award lists demonstrates the manufacturer's impact on display technology, as well as its pioneering role in the trend of smart, sustainable, and user-friendly homes.
