Four female students gain admission to Military Medical Academy with 30/30 points

Four female students achieved perfect 30/30 admission scores for the Military Medical Academy's military medical program, combining competency assessment exam results with awards and certificates.

These students are Nguyen Thi Hong from Bac Giang, Cao Ngoc Anh from Thai Nguyen, Nguyen Le Khanh Ha from Dak Lak, and Le Huynh Minh Khue from Ho Chi Minh City.

The Military Medical Academy confirmed that all four gained admission using competency assessment exam scores. Nguyen Thi Hong and Cao Ngoc Anh utilized the Ministry of National Defense's QDA exam, while the two students from the southern region used Ho Chi Minh City National University's V-ACT scores. Converted to high school graduation exam scores based on the B00 combination (Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology), their results ranged from 28,37 to 29,48 out of 30.

With an additional 0,75 to 2 bonus points, the admission scores of the four female students reached the absolute maximum. For instance, Le Huynh Minh Khue earned two bonus points through her IELTS 7.5 certificate, a second prize in the Ho Chi Minh City-level Biology Olympiad for gifted students, and a third prize in the provincial-level science and engineering competition (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau), alongside other achievements.

Their high school graduation exam scores were also notably strong. Nguyen Le Khanh Ha led this group with 29,25/30 points in the B00 combination.

Military Medical Academy's 2026 benchmark scores

The four female students come from different backgrounds, yet they all chose to pursue careers as military doctors.

Cao Ngoc Anh's father works in the medical field, while Le Huynh Minh Khue grew up in a military family. Nguyen Le Khanh Ha was guided by her teacher parents, and Nguyen Thi Hong was born into a farming family.

Nguyen Thi Hong's parents sold beans and raised livestock, waking daily at 2-3 h to work. A turning point occurred when her mother suffered an accident, inspiring Nguyen Thi Hong to study medicine and become a doctor.

Nguyen Le Khanh Ha was drawn to the profession by the deep concern she felt each time she held her grandparents' medical records. She aspired to study medicine primarily to support and ease her relatives' worries when they faced illness. Le Huynh Minh Khue found her inspiration witnessing military doctors tirelessly rescue people during natural disasters and floods.

The four female students stated that they applied to the Military Medical Academy not only for its strong medical training but also for its disciplined and rigorous environment, which demands a high level of self-improvement.

Nguyen Thi Hong recognizes she will face many challenges, from physical and psychological training during the new recruit phase to the academic pressure of a large volume of knowledge.

"I see this as a necessary 'training ground' to transform a high school graduate into a skilled medical soldier in the future", Nguyen Thi Hong shared.

This year, the Military Medical Academy is admitting 140 students, including 12 female students, with benchmark scores for this group set at 29,6 and 29,76, depending on the region. Additionally, the academy is admitting 250 students for its civilian program. In this program, one female student, Nguyen Truc Linh Anh from Ha Noi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, also achieved a perfect admission score of 30/30.

Nguyen Truc Linh Anh won first prize in city-level Biology and scored 115/150 on the Hanoi National University's HSA competency assessment exam (equivalent to 28,75/30 points for the B00 combination).
