University admission scores for 2025 are now available.
On the evening of 22/8, the University of Science (HCMUS), Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, announced the admission scores for all application methods.
For high school graduation exam scores, two programs had admission scores above 29: advanced computer science and artificial intelligence, ranging from 29.1 to 29.92. The lowest score was 17 for the enhanced English program in environmental science (D07 subject combination).

Based on the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City’s competency assessment score, three programs had admission scores above 1000/1200: data science, statistics, advanced computer science, and artificial intelligence.
The lowest score was 573 for the enhanced English program in environmental science.

Admitted candidates must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training’s system by 5 PM on 30/8. Failure to do so will be considered a refusal of admission.
In-person and online enrollment will take place from 26/8 to 30/8.

This year, HCMUS plans to admit approximately 4,450 students, an increase of over 400. The three main admission methods are: direct admission and priority admission, combining international language certificates with academic transcripts; high school graduation exam scores; and competency assessment scores.
Tuition fees for the 2025 academic year are expected to range from 28.4 million to 67 million VND.
