High school graduation exam registration opens today

12th-grade students and independent candidates have 12 days to register for the High School Graduation Exam, from 24/4 until 17:00 on 5/5.

According to instructions from the Ministry of Education and Training, candidates should use accounts provided by their respective departments and high schools. First-time users must change their password for security before filling in the required information.

Independent candidates can also register online via the National Public Service Portal or directly at designated reception points. A key update this year involves changes to provincial and city administrative codes due to recent mergers. Candidates must accurately enter these new codes during registration.

The Ministry has provided a new table of provincial and city administrative codes for the 2026 High School Graduation Exam registration. Beyond simply registering for the exam, candidates must also apply for high school graduation recognition. For any errors or questions during the registration process, candidates can contact hotline 18008000, extension 2, for assistance.

The Ministry anticipates over one million candidates will register for the exam this year.

The 2026 High School Graduation Exam is scheduled to take place over two days, 11-12/6, involving approximately one million candidates. Exam results are expected to be announced at 8:00 on 1/7.
